Fundraiser

Hi everybody,

My name is Rianne Huiberts, 20 years old. I’m your fundraiser, which means that I’m the one responsible for the incoming money. It’s me who tries to make the tickets for all the great activities as cheap as possible.

The few hours I don’t spend on ESN, I’m studying Cultural Anthropology. That’s another part of my interest in international student life. Yes, I’m studying cultures, but that doesn’t mean I know everything about every culture. So please help me to find out about yours!

My love for international life goes further than the borders of Utrecht. The love for Australia and New Zealand you can see in my passport. The last time I went down under I travelled around for a couple of months. That’s my advice for you all: travel! I know you will love one of the most beautiful cities in the Netherlands, Utrecht. But there is so much more to discover. Not only in the Netherlands. Europe is really beautiful and not only the famous Dutch beer is worth a “proost”, the Belgium ones even more. Or if you like good food, go to the south of Europe. If you like the cold and sauna’s, go to the north. The biggest challenge is a hitchhiking trip in countries where you don’t speak any language they speak, like in the eastern part of Europe. It’s sweet as!
